There’s so many! You can either draw, paint, or edit any type of art you want and I am here to help with that; I have a studio and plenty of room that any artist can fill! I am always learning, so I have an endless variety of techniques. But my biggest passion is sketching, so be prepared to do it again and again and again to practice your skills. A lot of aspiring painters have no artistic talent whatsoever, but I am one of those people. I have been drawing and painting for over 15 years, and I am always looking for new ideas. There’s really no limit other than the time in a day I work. I have a beautiful mind to work with and a lot of work to do, so I’m always looking for ways to keep the creative process interesting. I am always seeking things new to do and learning new techniques! I have a few goals that I’m always focused on, and one of them is to work on my sketching abilities so I’m always learning something new! I also want to be able to paint and draw the same type of artwork that I do. I love to create new stuff, the most recent thing that interests me on the other side of the country was making a huge sculpture of a giant tree in the middle of a desert! There’s something special about art with nature – it’s beautiful, weird, challenging, and it is very personal, so it’s the perfect place for me to be as a painter.
What are the things you want your portfolio to reflect?
That’s the hardest one to answer. I feel like I need to be really honest and show what I actually do well or what’s new for me. As a painter, I love making my own work, making it my own. I love creating things, so that’s something that reflects well on the artwork that I paint.
Have you ever had any bad business experiences with artists?
I’ve been in the business a long time, and I’ve worked with many artists across the U.S. and abroad. You need to have a strong will to always have success.
What’s the most popular sketch in your portfolio?
I really like doing the sketches that I draw. It’s such an incredible pleasure. I love creating things and drawing from the heart, and I’m fascinated by the process. When I create something I like to be really present in it, I draw it in real time, and it’s
