For iPhone and other Apple devices, you have options for high quality photos taken with your phone. You have the ability to use the camera by itself, as the software will provide you with an option for you to upload photos as .JPG or .PNG files. On any other device you need to use third party apps.

Q: What is HDR on my phone?
A: HDR on iPhone and other Apple mobile devices is a way to increase the color depth of images by adjusting the brightness of colors to create a more saturated image. By increasing the brightness of the colors it enables more detail to be seen due to the extra depth. Using the Hue-Saturation slider you can do so. It is one of the new HDR options.

Q: How do I create HDR in InDesign?
InDesign does not have HDR. That does not mean the program is useless. With the introduction of the new InDesign 7, in which HDR is supported by the HDR settings for Photo and Graphics, as well as the feature to create a Preset in InDesign to help you get a more interesting and vivid HDR effect, all you have to do is import your image. You will be able to edit the file’s attributes and customize the color palettes used for each color.

Q: Why can’t I access the photo editing options in InDesign?
