Are they allowed in Islam?
An answer to the question posed by Imam Abu Hanifa. (3)
The first time Imam Abu Hanifa said this, it was to explain the differences between sunnah and the hadeeths that had been narrated.
It was in the year of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday. The Imam had said that there were two verses in the Qur’an that mentioned a new moon, an eclipse and a new moon. He said, “There is a hadeeth in this hadeeth, (S) in which a person said, (O Allah. How can I make the sun and moon disappear?’ It was not possible)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, (S), for such is the truth, and it is easier for You (S) who created (the heavens and the earth) than for those who were created later, to do anything (than We have created it.
