Sophia, 21, has a one-of-a-kind, multi-million dollar tattoo, which covers nearly 50 percent of her body, including a single nipple and a row of 12 large, circular stars tattooed to the side of her torso.

Sophia says that her tattoo artist, John, does a great job but that he is never allowed to touch her naked. John, though, claims that she doesn’t pay him enough money.

“I don’t have a good relationship with my tattoo artist,” he says. “I’ve been in the business about 15 years, and I always got paid. However if my tattoo doesn’t look right, he’ll change it.”

John says that after the original ink fades, the tattoo artist will take the piece out of the machine and apply new ink. However, he adds that at some point after that ink dries, his machine will also run out of ink. But for now he will take the piece off and do something else.

Sophia has three tattoos that run to much larger than she can wear at a time on her body. They are a “I Am a Slave” star, a “I’m a Slave, Yours” star, and a “Someday You’ll Be Mine” star.


Sophia’s new tattoo is titled: “My Body Is Yours And Mine is Yours.” John, however, claims that is a little too close to what he calls “that one bit on a black guy,” as he says it will make people think her body is a symbol of all black people. It is also too big for her in the neck area, and it would not stand up to the heat it will experience at her home and office as well as the outside world.

“I don’t want to be seen with my body like this,” Sophia says. “It is very painful and uncomfortable.”

In the wake of President Donald J. Trump’s announcement yesterday that he would be withdrawing the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement, a number of politicians and commentators from all sides suggested that the decision was not one for the president, but a matter of economic opportunity for their respective cities.
