Well, if it were that simple, I’d be in the ranks of Jackie Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe and Rosalynn Carter: the most famous women in America.
I don’t know what my life looked like before I became a flapper, but it was not as difficult as I think some people think. I wasn’t under the gun, and I also had a great sense of humor to make me the woman I am today. In fact, if you look at my biography, I do not even mention my personal life, the rest of my career, my marriage to my wife for over 30 years, the years of our three children, my daughter, my two grandchildren and the millions of miles I have traveled, that I was a travel writer. All I have to say about my life is that I was a flapper and I know the secret to a successful life!
My favorite flapper? Well, I am not very fond of women in dresses. I think that people are too easily fooled by beautiful dresses that cover them up. I also dislike wearing skirts and dresses, they distract from the shape of your body. I was taught to wear a high-necked dress for a high-necked woman. And no, I will never do it again.
As you know, I have not been using the iPad since it came out; it’s a pain to get things done, but I have been playing video games pretty intensely and have been experimenting with the App Store for about 2 years now. I’ve been curious as to what would happen if I used the iPad for the work I do, and what would it mean for me and my career. I am doing the research now and have been given some amazing work that I will be sharing with you in a future post.
I’m looking forward to what this new iPhone and iPad will bring to the iPad as well. I am definitely not the first person to do what I’m planning to do, but I’m starting it now in order to have something new to think about and explore with.
So here I’m going to go through the three main areas I look to explore, and then give you my opinion and recommendations for how you should think about this, before I begin:
