Do you have a pet?
Do you play tennis, lacrosse, football, soccer, or soccer related sports?
Do you have any serious health issues?
Do you have or recently had a seizure?
Do you have a mental disorder? I don’t want you thinking that this is just for fakers. There are real people out there that are real, legitimate athletes. These are just some of the most common questions I get. For the record, I don’t think I have any health issues that I am not dealing with. But I also don’t believe that there is a 100% chance that I could ever be in the spotlight. Some may say that this is just to sell more magazines and get a few more views on Youtube. But I’ve been blessed with great health and I simply don’t think it will be that type of focus for me.
So that’s that. My current plans are to either keep blogging about personal fitness topics (which I have done for a long time), or focus on coaching. I will no longer be blogging about fitness or anything else but coaching, though I would love to have one post a week about personal training (that I have learned as a personal trainer) or anything that comes into mind as a “why?” question. The only way this will work is if I can take this on full time. If I do it will probably be for a few years, as the majority of the time I do these personal training videos will be taken off my Youtube channel. If I cannot stay active at this point, I will probably switch to coaching instead.
Have you heard of the term, “The 5 minute work week”?
You’re probably thinking, “Whoa, what?” Well, it is a phrase that is being often used around here. It basically goes back to the idea that if you could do 5-10 minutes of your workout at 90% of your max heart rate, it is probably too much. The best approach to getting as much out of your workout as possible, especially if you’re not taking breaks, is to maximize your heart rate.
To learn the 5 minute work week, check out this free online training program. I have done a lot of research on the topic of how much you should take or even do in training. As I continue to research and practice this, I believe that the best way to go with a plan like this is to take just 30-45 minutes at a time. But
