“But you’re not supposed to levitate anyway. You can’t float on water.”
“We’re not supposed to float on water?” It was the first question I’d been asked. “Do I have to tell you? I just walked up to you and said ‘I’m levitating’ and then they asked me a question about how to get the water to get in the suit.”
“Oh, come on. You were asking me to be able to walk up. Did I tell you about the ‘walk’?”

“We’re trying to get you to move around, okay? It’s okay if you don’t move.” It took a second before the guy got the point. “We are trying to get you to be able to walk across the room so you can keep running. And now you don’t have any swimsuits?”
“No, just my clothes that I’m wearing. I was on top of a ladder and went up the stairs, and came down on the other side, and then came back.” I was a little surprised.
“Yes,” I said, smiling at the man.
“Do you have to be like that?”
“I mean, yes. When you don’t have them on.” Then there was this little smile in my eyes. I don’t know if I was in shock or just amused at how his question seemed to have landed. “What’s your favorite show?”
“I’m not sure. You don’t have to tell me.”
The man stopped and put out his hand. “You’ve got a good head
