For those of you that haven’t seen The Fifth Element before, it’s an action movie where an alien race creates a magical world called “The Zone”. The Zone is a gigantic floating city where only humans and aliens are allowed to live. The inhabitants are extremely intelligent machines: they understand every part of the world but not everything about society or how to work around it. This explains why they only allow humans to live there. They need a magical core – to create the Zone, the aliens must first make one with magic.
We’ll explain more about how this works later, but for now, you should get your popcorn ready.
An Ottawa man is facing a charge of possession of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking after Ottawa police arrested him at his home.
Odette Dépardon, 23, was arrested at an address in the 900 block of Chateau Ste. Marie after police received a call from the woman who called into 911.
Police say Dépardon’s girlfriend is the woman who reported the incident because she is a victim of domestic violence.
Dépardon, of No. 741 Laurier St., Ottawa, is facing two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was released after posting $100,000 bail.
When people ask me what my hobbies were growing up, their first question is invariably “What did you do for fun in high school?” The answer is “Everything!” As my daughter and I got older, our schedules grew more and more demanding and my hobbies evolved, too. I took more time to study on the side, did more reading and more web design, and of course, I took many more trips.
As kids, we used a lot of disposable income to get around: we moved often as well as took trips. As kids, we took many, many trips to places like Las Vegas, Disneyland or the world’s largest aquarium. As kids, we took trips to see many of our friends (in school), and those trips were often full of great fun.
Kids take trips because they like to take and spend time out in the open. In other words, they feel comfortable that they can be anywhere, anywhere at any time. They have adventures that they want to go on. Traveling is their playground.
Of the countless trips that we took as kids, many of us were lucky enough to participate in some of them. I always had the best parents and
