I have an advanced degree. Does that mean I also need to do this program?
If you have an advanced degree, we recommend you enroll in the program. You can find more on how to do that here. All students are required to take the art classes.
I know about scholarships, and I’m not interested. Should I enroll in the program anyway?

I know of a way to gain more in-depth knowledge in the field of the art or artistic studies. What should I learn?
The Art Program is a course that you can take to supplement the art programs of your choice, such as B.A. in Art, M.S. in Art, and Doctoral programs (Artistic Education for Scientists and Artists). The Art Program is designed as a hands-on, hands-on learning experience. It is a curriculum designed to make your experience as an art/artistic student a great one. This program can be used in lieu of the Art & Visual Arts program offered at the University of Virginia. It includes the same subjects and content as that program, but it adds a focus on visual creativity, visual experience, and graphic and digital design.
I already know what to pursue, but don’t have the knowledge to do it. What should I do?
The Art Program was initially designed for students at the University of Virginia, and students who already have the skills required to pursue the degree of the major they want, but don’t have the skill set to do the program.
