MADISON, Wis. – Madison police have released video of the suspect who was arrested in the homicide of a 23-year-old black man during a robbery earlier this month.

The man with the beard who had been seen with the black victim was identified and arrested early Thursday morning.

“One of his friends showed him the video that was posted on YouTube,” said Capt. John Edwards with Madison Police.

The friend said he recognized the man in the video, so he turned him in and brought him to police.

The man’s name will not be released.

Edwards said the video has a connection to robberies that happened earlier this month, but he wouldn’t go into what those crimes were.

Edwards said the man who he said shot the victim is still out on bond and could face charges. The man was taken to the Madison County Jail.

Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying vowed to pursue the individuals and “use all means necessary” to crack down on the alleged hacking of the territory’s phone system.

The two men, ages 36 and 27, have been detained, but there has been no indication of what charges will be brought against them, the newspaper said, citing unnamed police sources.

Apple spokesman Steve Capus declined to comment outside the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.

The newspaper said there were suspicions that the pair of hackers were linked to mainland Chinese security services who had been monitoring mainland communications.

The incident highlights the risks associated with Apple products and raises questions about the quality of the hardware, which the company has said is built around secure software.

Hong Kong’s territory became a special administrative region called a ” Special Administration of China” under the territory’s Basic Law on April 1 to allow China
