Here are some tips to help you drop weight quickly.
Make a habit of waking up at an early time for morning cardio on a regular basis. Aim to exercise at least 20 minutes two days a week. If you’re trying to drop 10 pounds in eight weeks, do 10 minutes every morning. If you’re trying to drop 10 pounds in one month, do 30 minutes every morning.
Eat healthy, like salads. One of the best ways to build muscle mass is to eat salads like kale, sweet potato, red potatoes, collard greens, and spinach. Try not to eat more than 300 calories a day — or if you’re trying to lose weight, 300 calories a day might be too much — and make a nutritious, low calorie snack the night before a workout.
Don’t rush a calorie-counting test on the day of a workout. You should only do a calorie-counting test on the day of a workout, ideally before your workout. After eating after your workout — for example, a smoothie — and walking around, it’s hard to lose weight. Try skipping meals on days you normally eat.
Wipe out a cookie or a candy bar before bed. Snacking at night is a bad idea — snack on healthy, low-fat veggies every evening.
If you have exercise-related chronic pain or conditions like chronic fatigue syndrome, know what to do about it.
Riot’s annual Summer Fest kicks off today.
I had the pleasure of being an ambassador for Riot earlier in the year, and I had time over the past few weeks to talk with players and admins about ways to help them in their endeavors in the community.
I believe these topics were covered in the Riot Spring Split 2014 Postmortem, but I have put together a more detailed synopsis below for those who missed it.
Riot has a number of resources to help players improve in their online game play (League of Legends, CS:GO, etc), and a series of videos that they have created are designed to help new players improve their skills.
The videos are structured so that viewers can immediately jump into the lessons that are being explained. These skills can be applied to any game (although obviously some games are better for some players than others depending on personal preferences).
