I don’t draw the bus. It’s in the hands of our designers. My team is working on the bus, and they’re drawing it. It’s a very unique shape, with different surfaces that you can see in the top and the sides, so they have different shapes they’re working onto to try to get this to work, but of course you always have these issues. You try to make it look good, but you know that it has it’s limitations. I wouldn’t say it’s my best work, but it’s got quite a few different shapes it’s going through. Hopefully, it’ll look good.
Have you ever made a bus, and if so, what was it like? Any challenges?
No, no challenge. The last thing I can remember is I had a bus, and it was painted, and I had the handle and it looked just right. I really enjoyed it.
If you could choose one city or one place in the world to get the bus from, which would it be?
I think London. It’s one of my favourite places. It’s easy to get around. It’s beautiful, the streets are fantastic.
What’s the one thing you like about making your own stuff? Anything that you want to improve on?
I don’t really like anything and I think that sometimes I have to put everything into something else. It can’t be really good at the end of it, I’m probably too happy with what I’ve made. But at least, you can know that there’s someone that’s making it, and you can say hey, he’s the best, I can’t really criticise it, it’s my own thing. At this stage, there’s no point.
Do you think your work influences other people? How so?
Well, I like to be inspired by something. I love when people draw, and look at it and say that was a really clever idea, or a really interesting colour. I think there’s a lot of things that you can do with graphics, and different ways of doing things, but it’s also what makes you feel very creative. There’s lots of different influences, but it’s also your own, you can come up with them yourself, and you can make them, and then you can put them together, as long as you’re not infringing on my artwork or my life or my family or anything like that.
