If a person were to ask for a $1 billion funding source, it’s not exactly clear how that would be financed. But the technology is already a reality and if its potential is to be fully realized then it could be made available to the public.
The cost of such a development would be much higher than anything in the history of humanity to date. While the technological challenges are immense, the possibility of achieving energy from renewable sources is an even more daunting prospect. This is especially the case when the vast majority of people in Earth’s surface will never have access to the technology, yet they live in an environmentally fragile environment that requires constant effort in conserving water and other resources. A renewable energy source that could be used to power entire countries and the entire planet is an impossible dream, but a renewable source that could be used to produce clean, renewable energy and create jobs while making the planet more habitable is not too far fetched.
I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting places. For many years, I’ve lived just off of Route 5 in the hills above Boston. As I got older, I became interested in the history and cultural diversity of the city. From this, I grew to find Boston to be some of the coolest and most unique places in America.
I’ve had a few new places recently open up to me, especially in the East Bay. So, I had to check out what I thought would be a very unique addition – Stone Park.
I lived close to the park for a period of time after graduating college, so I knew it was right up my alley, and wanted to explore it more thoroughly.
Stone Park
The area of Stone Park was once a community garden where residents grew food that was shipped weekly to the South Shore Market. But, by the turn of the 20th century, it became a dumping ground for industrial garbage, and the rest was history. The last resident died in 2001 and the surrounding area was designated as the Gravesend Forest.
However, since then, I’ve become a huge fan of the park where I’ve been able to observe how far the history of the area has come.

Boys Play Area
