Bergs and Nevin are not talking about what the Sun does or makes of natural energy sources, they are talking about physics! Their answer: that our solar system is filled with a lot of atoms. That all the hydrogen atoms, neutrons, and electrons that make up our solar system all seem to be made of one atom each. They also have a good explanation for how the protons, neutrons, and electrons get made of one atom each, and the hydrogen and oxygen atoms (and the “free-energy” that they contain) are all made of “free-energy”.

This was not an academic discussion, but rather a fundamental scientific theory. To a physicist, the only reasonable explanation for the structure of our solar system is that there were atoms that were made of free-energy within the Sun.
