I was one of the first people who went to visit a new school the day it opened in March 2013. I spent the time there talking to the teachers, talking to my professors, reading the books that they gave me for my “special class” because I didn’t want to be bored so I just watched. Then when I got back home I saw a picture of a girl there, and the words that she was carrying hung on the wall next to her desk. As soon as I saw that picture I knew that she was my high school’s teacher.
At the time I didn’t really know what to make of it, but she was so amazing that I had to make contact with her and talk to her about this idea. I was already a fan of her teaching methods because before I started my journey with the program I studied and read a great deal of how teachers teach and I knew that it was possible I could make the same progress.
About a month into my time with MMT I met a woman who was going to take her new program to her class and after I told her about my past experiences with teachers she was very excited for the possibility of being a teacher, and I was excited too. I had found the person who had been able to achieve the same things I had. She was my teacher and
