How can I start my own zoo? – Free Pet Sitting Business Card Templates

This is the second part of a series of “Best of the Web” feature articles, which will look at web apps and platform-independent apps — all the way to Android apps that run natively on devices that are no smaller than a Galaxy S4 (and bigger than the iPhone). We’ll be looking at several different strategies for tackling big ideas like that.

In order to get you started, I’m going to present some suggestions you’ll find valuable as you dive deeper into these apps, and how they’re used. If you’re not interested in learning how a particular app works, but instead simply want to know if a specific strategy makes sense for you and your business, that’s awesome — drop me a line at john@onboarding.io.

Make sure the user interface keeps up with the evolution of the platform. If an app becomes more popular and has many more users, the UI is likely to fit that new-fangled UI style better or need less tweaking. But if the UI has aged badly, it’s not in line with the current trend, and you might be a bit more focused on the user experience in the old days. You may still be able to make the app fit better on future devices with tweaks, but it will be more difficult to do so — and maybe even impossible.
