What is Krylon? What is spray paint? Krylon paints are spray and paint products that contain a chemical that is called an air-based solution to make the paint more visible to the eye. They are used for outdoor and indoor applications. Krylon is very good at making the color on surfaces lighter, less streaky, and more consistent. (What you see here comes from a Krylon spray paint can.) Krylon paints should never be used to seal, waterproof or protect surfaces. Krylon is the same stuff used in many paints and wallboard. These materials should only be handled with extreme care.

In a previous post, we looked at the ways many people are using the concept of “theft” to justify and justify their own bad behavior at work. Today, we’re focusing on how police officers are using “lapses in the status quo” as another way to justify or excuse their behavior.
A police officer who is found with a stolen gun is often the target (pun intended) of public criticism that he’s “stealing” from the people. This is an understandable reaction. If it can be found that the person stealing the stolen stuff has some sort of medical condition, this is a reason to be skeptical; if it can’t, the person can’t possibly be stealing from the right people who deserve it.
Of course, there is no reason to think that cops are going to “steal” all guns they find at crime scenes when dealing with a few thousand. In fact, it can be argued that they are more likely to find guns in the hands of people who are mentally ill or on the brink of committing a crime. That is what would be going on if you tried to pull those sorts of comparisons with ordinary people.
Still, we don’t expect cops to look over their shoulder, and we don’t necessarily want to hear police leaders and supervisors justifying their bad actions
