LONG BEACH, Calif. (KTLA) — A Long Beach man is accused of sending text messages to an underage girl from under his sister’s pillow.
Anthony DeJesus, 26, was arrested Wednesday, November 15 for allegedly sending explicit text messages to a 15-year-old female. The girl had been dating DeJesus for months.
The Long Beach Police Department says DeJesus texted the girl, “I love fukking you because of you and I know how much u like me…” The girl had been romantically involved with De Jesus for about one year.
The woman told police:
I met De Jesus at my high school prom. He was so cute and sweet. I tried to kiss him at the prom, and told him I love him and he said “I don’t really need to kiss you.” Then, in a text message, he asked me to make a fake Facebook to get to know me, so he could get into my pants. Then again in a text message, he said he wanted to kiss me for the fourth time. I told him no. He texted me the next day asking me if I wanted to meet up that is when we started hooking up. At the park he told me he would give me his number and that he would see him later that week. I saw him that night, but when I went to get my dad I couldn’t go. Since then I’ve always thought that my boyfriend was just the friend of a school friend and that it’s not my family. He also told me he’d text me later and he didn’t text that night either.
The girl told police that after DeJesus moved away, he texted her with the message, “I got it, I’ll talk to you later tonight. I need the money for tomorrow.” She was upset that she wasn’t allowed to speak with DeJesus. A short time later, the girl texted the girl, and said her phone was being pinged in the area where DeJesus lived. The text message was sent from DeJesus’ device.
The girl also told police that she did not want to press charges, but she did want to take a closer look at the text messages, to see if she had a picture of De
