How do you see through clothes in Photoshop? – Learn Photo Editing Techniques Lightroom Classic Download

Edit your images with different lighting sources and get a clean look!

1. Lighting Source

This is the first point in the photo where you’ve got to be careful of the lighting. You need to ensure your lighting is not too dark or too bright. If you’ve got too much dark in the foreground, it will look like the subject is in silhouette, rather than fully formed. Keep a light source to your side in front of your subject as much as possible. It will help to keep your subject’s face a little out of frame so that there is still a sense of focus and depth when you’ve got all the light around the subject.

It isn’t essential to be able to find the best light source but it makes life easier if you can.

2. Exposure Levels

It’s easy to shoot bright at the top of the image until the scene gets dark. The darker the scene, the more light we have to work with and the less light we get to work with. To balance this out we need a couple of images to see how that works out from a photograph to photograph. There are a couple of ways to try and ensure you have one that is just right: use your best settings and test them out.

The second is to use your best settings from the top down:

The final step is to work down so that the middle of each image is just dark and not lit up to the top. You’ll find that the final image is just a touch brighter than in the previous version. Don’t change the exposure levels too much so that you don’t get the impression that the entire image has the top of the image lit up to the top. If your image has a lot of light you’ll want to go down a few levels and the images will be a bit more even between them, but that’s also a good thing. It means a cleaner photograph with more light coming down on your subject from the corners/top of the view.

This is the part where you have to go home and work to get it right. You’ve spent the whole day shooting, you’ve shot a few images before then spent the next day reviewing photos and tweaking your images to get the right look that suits you best. It’s all very well doing it on post production but your photographs will come out a bit different.

It’s a good idea to have a few reference pictures in which your eyes recognise the look of different clothes to help with your
