All of these are the same as they were when I played them. I don’t have any questions. They’re not magic, they are for use in the show. I’m really excited about being involved in The Amazing World of Gumball – it’s been great. It’s a great opportunity to play the same character. It’s been a lot of fun. It’s been a lot of fun being able to play a part in what we really love – which is Gumball – it’s really fun. I think the most fun thing is being able to play the same character.
How much do you think about doing a new Gumball series?
I don’t think so. I like to think about the characters and the world and everything that came before. I can’t think anymore about the future. I can’t wait to go to college and get into my doctorate!
How does The Amazing World of Gumball come to you?
I get a lot of stories from people. You just know there’s a story somewhere in it! But I do look for them online in certain ways too.
What are the things you like the most about doing a Gumball show?
My favorite thing to do in front of the camera is show the people who are like me who are just in their early twenties. They’re looking at Gumball and trying to figure out what the hell he does because that’s what they do. One of the most important things I try to do with any character I play is show them where my family is.
How much will you work on the Gumball show?
I’m very tight on schedule so it’ll be probably a few episodes. It might be five and I think it’ll be a good balance.
Do you have a set number of scenes in The Amazing World of Gumball?
I have. In fact, I’m going to have just one of those little things that every Gumball actor has at heart. I got out of my little apartment and I looked out my door and there’s five lines and I’m walking away from me five lines.
Were you ever nervous about a job like this or did you see it as an opportunity?
I was really nervous when I came out. I was in the same hotel I was in that day. They were like ‘hey you’re in The Amazing World of Gumball’. I was like ‘I don’t know what’s going on’ and they
