Probably just a different sort of money than regular web programming.
The other two things are more specific to YouTube:
a) YouTube is a great platform to make money. In the first few days after you start making videos, there are a slew of ads that automatically appear during content that you create on YouTube, with the intention of attracting viewers. If you are good, enough, and dedicated to making money, you can make money by monetization to the tune of upwards of $100 USD within just a few hours of a YouTube video’s initial uploading. You can even get paid for ads where they “attract” users to your channel.
b) YouTube has a fairly high level of control over its channel users, who are entitled to certain features, such as access to certain user feeds and the ability to comment on videos. With all of this in mind, it is actually surprisingly easy to make money on YouTube, even if you use other YouTube channels. As of this writing, I have yet to come across one user who will refuse money from their YouTube channel, as they are free to do so. The only difference is how easy it is to make money when you are the owner of the account.
3. It is not for everyone
For the sake of simplicity, I am going to stick with just one YouTube channel who has successfully monetized his content through a paid YouTube Video promotion — and that is Kostas Makarios – Kostas Makarios YouTube Channel.
It’s hard to say for sure what the true success rate for this one is, as Kostas doesn’t really have many other channels in his channel area. However, as of this writing, his videos have made over $400 USD. Considering many people do not go out of their way to use YouTube content creators.
One thing that is great about this particular YouTube channel’s video strategy is that each video that Kostas does is free to the audience because of YouTube’s restrictions on what people can monetize. Therefore, Kostas has a huge marketing target.
As I mentioned previously, the main way that this YouTube channel earns money for him is through ads (and I have to emphasize the word “attract” — not sell). The ads in question are the “sponsored” ads — ads that appear when the viewer clicks the “Like” button.
The sponsored ads that Kostas does can be seen below. I have been informed by other YouTube channels that the featured ads
