They are used in a number of ways but generally there are two elements.
The first part of the illusion is when the person actually enters the room. When the person enters the room and looks to their right, they will see a door and the person’s heart will be beating. This occurs because we imagine people enter the room with the door open (even though they do not).
The second part of the illusion is that when the person enters the room we do not believe they will actually enter the room. Even though we do not believe they will, the world continues on. We continue to imagine the doors being closed. Our thoughts wander and wander through a realm of illusions. They can be pretty confusing.

In order for an individual to achieve a state of being which is beyond belief, he must accept that he is not perfect. We believe we are perfect because we are conscious. Being aware of this reality and then becoming aware of our limitations leads to a state of non belief, awareness of our limitations, and acceptance of our condition.
