There’s all sorts of things that could make a script worse than it already is, from bad dialogue writing to bad editing to bad acting or even a really bad director.
There are lots of things that go into the whole making of a movie and it all boils down to three factors: the scriptwriter, the producer and the director.
Once you’ve got them all in, the next stage is to find the right people to write the script.
Once you’ve found your right collaborators, it’s time to begin to work on the script on your own.
You’re going to need a pretty decent laptop computer so that you can write, create your scenes and even change the way you shoot the scene so that you don’t have to reanimate a stunt double.
You are probably going to need about 10 weeks to write a script. That might include writing the first draft of the chapter of the script (it’s a lot more complicated that that). There are the following chapters –
Chapter 1 – This is where you write down all the elements of the story and then try to work out what the story really is. If it’s a movie, Chapter 2 would be Chapter 3 or whatever.
Chapter 2 – This is where you write up all the dialogue. It doesn’t have to be too long and it doesn’t have to be too short too much as it’s very important that you get to the good stuff in that chapter. Then you just need to work out how a scene should go and how the story should end.
Chapter 3 – This is the scene where you can begin to get on with the actual editing.
This chapter can be very, very short. Most people want it to be at least 100% the original footage so that it’s clear that you have been able to make all the changes and have done those scenes because what they’re doing in the editing room could not be done in front of the audience, so we don’t want it to be very short. As it may be in the script but at the same time, we want to make sure that it stays very close to the original film, so we’ve got to cut it down to make sure that it works and then it’s on to the editing process which is very simple.
Chapter 4 – This is where you start to edit. The editing takes place in two stages. Firstly, there are the normal editing stops where the director can see a certain scene and go “I
