The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones are known, if not well known, at least as a band that plays awesome rock music that some really dig. The album “Rolling Stones Live at Wembley Stadium” is pretty great, but it’s the three albums after it they truly stand out.
It’s a great reminder of what great rock can be. I recommend this album by the Rolling Stones live on the Wembley Stadium Wembley Arena in 1963 in one of my favorite albums ever. Not only do the three albums follow a similar progression of musical form and themes, but the album begins in the same moment, the first line of the song “Stick It To The Man.”
We’re at a point where we can put aside expectations of great rock music because of the sheer quantity of great rock that exists today. If you’d like to learn more about great rock, and learn it well, look no further than the history of the Stones.
