What kind of beginner guitar lessons do I need?
Don’t worry, I’m not here to judge you too severely, but this is a pretty long post!
I can’t think of a better way to start this post.
The only place I can agree with your assessment is that some people are just not ready for the learning curve to guitar.
I know some people who were in the band but still struggle with playing simple, traditional guitar lines.
I will say that these people are definitely different though, and there is nothing wrong with that.
You’ve got to have a little bit of a different mindset, however, to play a lot of the same songs over and over again.
If you spend a month at a bar playing songs and don’t get the chance to play on your instrument a lot, you will miss the good stuff that you’ve learned.
If you get to the point where you’re only playing songs a few times a month, I would highly recommend you stop for awhile. It’s just not worth it!
There are so many different ways to improve your guitar skills and guitar teaching, so I’ll try my best to point you to something useful.
