Is performance more than a performance?”
This isn’t really a song, so it’s hard to explain. However, the “Fate/Grand Order Original Version” line “This is just an extension of your own self” also sounds a lot like that part of the final song.
Fumu, though, is a song that seems to have a special place for me. The scene where Tohru, Chihaya and Asahina are fighting is just… so sweet and beautiful as I would like for the people who watched the opening to that to feel sad. This is like the beginning of my happy and happy dream about playing this amazing piano.
“It’s a shame that it’s about that…”
While I said that out loud, Asahina suddenly smiled and said, “The scene… about that isn’t going to be changed at all.”
“Then, I guess we will change it.”
Tohru, who was just standing there silently, looked down at her.
“It will be different, but the actual lyrics are still as you remembered them from that world.”
“That’s right, that’s right. I also remember the melodies, so it should be the same as the opening one.”
Asahina answered with a grin. However, that smile was probably not genuine.
“I mean, that is just your interpretation of the melody, right?”
“Yeah. The melody of an opening, on the other hand, is written on the page. If you were to interpret it however you want, it’ll be different from all the other scenes, so you can just go ahead and do as you wish.”
I nodded, and Asahina continued.
“It’s not, like a different version…”
“Exactly. That’s how I think about it. It’s just like how the ending was completely different, it’s just based on yours.”
“Ah~, well… anyway, what part are you talking about?”
“Well, I think the lines about the scene I wrote is the true ending right now. I don’t know exactly what I’ll end up doing with it, but it’s certainly something that fits the theme of me and Yui-chan being together.”
“Is that so, you feel like that, but…”
