Why would the GPU be at higher clock rates?
i have seen a handful of the 5k and even i’m not sure how much the 5k would affect their clocks since i don’t have an A99 cpu to test it at with out my 8gb 1600 (though i guess im doing it wrong im not really sure).
however the 5k will allow more vram than the 4k without having the same performance. it will probably be around 400-450mhz more than the 4k but if you only did it for the 5k the difference between the 5k and 4k would not be a lot at all imo. and im sure most people would be happy at 4k if they have the GPU at 400-450mhz.
the 2gb 1600 will still have around the same performance, but at a lot less voltage so will be a lot more expensive.
this really should get you going, but i am assuming that these numbers are all for the 4k. if you are running a 1080, the results are more consistent so its not really a big deal…
