Is 26 too old to learn guitar? – Justin Guitar

If that is the case, here’s a few tips to boost your guitar-playing potential.

1. Practice, practice, practice

No student should ever skip practice!

It is very easy to get lost in the guitar lessons. You’re on your way to a good practice routine, and then you forget to do it again.

If you want to progress, be sure to work on your own guitar at least twice a day.

And if you plan on spending a few months at college, then make sure to take guitar/instrument lessons regularly.

2- Practice your technique!

One of the biggest mistakes students make is that they don’t try to play the notes exactly right.

It is also very easy to play the notes wrong or the chords in the wrong positions. This means that you are not playing with the correct muscle memory.

Try to play the notes correctly, and then learn how to play better.

3. If you fail, get out of the lesson!

After we get to know your technique, our instructor will tell us the difference between a good and bad technique!

It is much easier to improve if you don’t know for sure how you are doing.

To get out of bad technique, make sure to listen carefully.

Don’t just listen to your teacher.

Listen to yourself and try and hear where you can improve.

4. Play with a few friends

There is a huge difference when you play with your friends.

If it’s your first time playing it, chances are, you have many “skills” that you should not even try learning.

But if you are playing with friends, then you will be able to pick up more tricks that only a few people will ever learn.

5. Get a great guitar teacher

Most guitar teachers in Japan teach guitar.

That way you can find someone with your technique that will teach you how to play. This way your guitar player can stay motivated and not be frustrated when it’s his first time practicing and he can’t come to the lesson.

6 – Get good quality music lessons

Your guitar is your hobby and you don’t want to waste it on bad lessons.

When you spend many hours learning guitar, especially the scales, then you will find that you don’t need to learn the same songs over and over again. This saves you time.
