Yes. I did. So I went down a rabbit hole of people’s blogs, books, training, and a bunch of supplements called “Fitness Food.” You know how fad diets become: the first girl who posts a “Fit Mom” blog, everyone else starts to do it, people start to buy it, and then the second girl starts to have it too because her blog post got so popular. So I got really into it. I really loved the idea of being on the “thin is winning” bandwagon, but I got really tired of seeing my body get more fat through dieting. I’ve had my share of struggles, and now that I’ve been in a lot of pain while training, I’m looking forward to starting a new chapter in her life, which I’m hoping will make up for all the pain that’s been going on with her body.”
What are your plans on this summer as a pole dancer? “I want to go to Europe for the Pan-American championships, see what it has to offer, and really try to break into the USA National pole dancing team. There’s so much competition in the U.S., it seems like pole dancing isn’t that big of a thing. So that’s my goal. I want to be more competitive in the summer. So far, I’m really happy with the Pan-American Championships.”
What would you do if pole danced in Canada someday? “‘Cause they’re better.”

“Well when I told them I’d be here, they gave me this really nice dance. It’s called the “Dancing Queen.” And it’s a cool one. If anyone wants to dance with me during my trip I’ll always accept the challenge.”
