Yes, we can! We have a very large room in our workshop, so we can provide a static pole. The pole needs to be level on each side. The poles are made entirely of steel and the center is about 2 inches thick. The bottom needs to be about 16 inches in diameter. Once the pole is in place, we cover it with a thin layer of vinyl insulation. Then we hang a string from the pole that we will set in the room we’re working in.
You can see how this project can become very complex, even if it is not your first pole-shredding experience. You need to be very sure of what pole to use and that you have a good base to hang your piece from. When you’re finished, you’ll be well on your way to getting a pole that is sturdy enough to stand in your shop.
ROME, Nov 7 (Reuters) – After last week’s election of France’s Francois Hollande, a French minister said that, to restore democracy to France, voters should take up arms.

Pascal Tisserant, a member of Hollande’s government, made his comments on French radio late on Saturday that are likely to aggravate a rising political rift in the country as he faced questions about his position on the future of the state.
His views echo that of some in his party, which has been split over whether to offer a third term to Hollande, whose election campaign led to the toppling of two cabinet ministers and sparked a protest march by hundreds of thousands against his government.
“I ask everyone to be prepared to take the responsibility of the struggle to bring the State back,” he said. “It is the responsibility of democracy to show it. I’m ready to take the responsibility on this basis.”
Tisserant did not explain how, if he was an enemy of democracy, he could not be part of the fight against it.
In recent days the Socialist Party has come under pressure from anti-austerity activists and former Prime Minister Jean-Luc Melenchon, who are demanding that Hollande back a new constitution for this year.
